Cast circa 1880s - 1890s, this heavy cast iron stand has the embossed foundry lettering along the stem reading "BRIGHTON." on one side (referencing the manufacturing city) and "L&SI Co." on the other for the famous Logan & Strobridge Iron Company of New Brighton, Pennsylvania.
It’s securely mounted onto a sturdy, vintage wood block base (9.75" x 4.75"), allowing it to stand firmly on its own. Standing at a substantial 16” tall, it is a magnificent size for use as a rustic doorstop, bookend, mantel accent, or industrial storefront display.
